This has happened with a close friend of mine.

This is the biggest issue with car seats. You need to get it tight enough that the wiggle room is less than an inch.

The frame is the same for both car seats. So there’s no reason to bore you by repeating myself.

Here’s the good news. The installation is super easy. You can use the seat belt or the latch system. If you’re expecting the bad news sadly, theirs is.

Getting it right is the hard part. Feeding through the holes doesn’t take much. To get it tight, you will have to climb in and push down on the seat. Or you have to push with your knee. Sometimes it’s a good idea to ask a little help from the men of the house.

Also, to get a leveled seat, it’s a good idea to get the angle adjuster. This is a glorified pool noodle, aka slab.

Kids will always make a mess in a car. I believe that this is how they’re built. From accidents to spills, you will have to clean up everything.

This is why it’s important to know how easy or hard to clean after the kids.

There’s only one minute difference between the Diono Radian 3RXT and the Diono Rainier 2AX. The latter is harder to remove. With the Diono Radian 3RXT, you will have an easier time.

They have done a great job with the fabric. It’s machine washable. It’s highly recommended to use cold water and a gentle cycle. To get it dried, the best solution is air drying.

Last but not least, I have to mention that you have to rethread the harness. This isn’t a problem if only one child is in the seat. But if you have multiple ones like grandparents often does this will become a real chore.  With both car seats, you will have to do this.

It’s tricky to install if you haven’t watched the videos

Pros:

Finally, a car seat where the baby isn’t slouching or sliding down

It’s lightweight and easy to move around

It’s soft and padded plus it comes with side impact protection

Cons:

The gray fabric is not that stain friendly
