After spending the last few weeks in full research mode by studying encyclopedias, scouring through old newspapers and finding my dad’s old car magazines (a few that are not for the Mrs’ eyes to see) I’m ready to reveal which are cars that start with the letter F.

Facel Vega was a French manufacturer which started out creating steel furniture and then moved towards car bodies. It was operational between 1939 and 1964. And it was founded by Jean Daninos in Paris, France.

Faraday Future is a startup that was founded in 2014 in Los Angeles, California, USA. They focus on creating intelligent electric vehicles.

 

FAW

FAW is a Chinese car maker which was founded in 1953 and it’s based in Changchun, Jilin, China. It’s a state-owned company and it’s one of the top4 major brands in China.

 

FAW Jiefang

FAW Jiefang is a subsidiary of FAW and was founded in 2003 it’s based in Changchun, Jilin, China. They focus on creating light, medium and heavy trucks.

 

Ferrari

Ferrari is one of the most well-known brands when it comes to sports cars. It was founded in 1947 by Enzo Ferrari in Maranello, Italy. They focus on the higher-end and they create, race, sports, luxury and hypercars for those who can afford them.

 

Fiat

Fiat is the largest Ialian car manufacturer and it was founded in 1899 by Giovanni Agnelli in Turin, Italy. They focus on creating small affordable cars.

 

Fioravanti

Fioravanti was founded in 1987 by Leonardo Fioravanti in Turin, Italy. The company focuses on creating automotive designs.

 

Fisker

Fisker was founded in 2007 by Henrik Fisker and Bernhard Koehler and it’s based in Irvine, California, United States. They were the first to reveal a plug-in hybrid vehicle in 2008. They focus on creating electric vehicles.

 

Foden Trucks

Foden Trucks was a truck and bus company and it was operational between 1887 and 2006. It was based in the UK. PACCAR acquired it in 1980 and in 2006 it discontinued the brand.

 

Force Motors

Force Motors was founded in 1958 by Dr. Abhay Firodia and it’s based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. They are part of Firodia Group. They create commercial vehicles on all scales.

 

Ford

Ford is one of the most known car companies in the world. It was established in 1903 by Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan, U.S. They sell affordable cars and have different subbrands that cater to sports car fans and luxury as well.

 

Ford Mustang

 

Ford Mustang is a sub-brand from Ford and they create iconic sports cars. It was established in 1964 and its very first sports car rolled off the assembly in 1965.

 

Foton

Foton was founded in 1996 in Changping, Beijing, China and it’s owned by the BAIC group. They focus on trucks, buses, sports utilities and even agricultural machines.

 

Ford Performance Vehicles

Ford Performance Vehicles was founded in 2002 for the Australian market. It’s based in Campbellfield, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It was the premium branch of Ford and it was operational between 2002 and 2014.

 

Franklin

Franklin Automobile Company was operational between 1902 and 1934 and it was founded by Herbert H. Franklin in Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York, United States. While operational it was creating luxury vehicles until the Great Depression killed it off.

FSO was founded in 1948 and it’s located in Warsaw, Poland. FSO stands for Fabryka Samochodów Osobowych (AKA Passenger Automobile Factory). Initially they had created cars but recently they are manufacturing only parts.

 

9FF

9FF was founded in 2001 by Jan Fatthauer and it’s based in Dortmund, Germany. They focus on car tuning specifically Porches turning them into street-legal race cars.
