I don’t know who invented that Clicktight tech, but it’s a real lifesaver. In the meaning that you don’t have to have acrobatic skills to get it installed. Neither you need super strength. It’s simple and efficient.
From toddler age up until your child gets their license, this car seat will serve well. If you want to use the maximum out of the 5-point harness, you can do it until your child reaches 90 pounds. That’s unheard of in this industry.
The headrest can be easily adjusted. Plus, there’s no need to manually rethread the straps ever. This is a major selling point for me because I can never get it done. So I always had to ask my husband to help out. Not anymore. It’s automatic.

With all two in one solution, this car seat is heavy. After you have installed it, you won’t have the motivation to haul it from one car to the next.
It’s not just heavy but wide as well. 3 across is not possible.
Some parents reported that the seat tends to rattle. And in most cases, it happens when the seat is empty. I haven’t experienced it and thought I would still mention it.
One of the biggest issues with the Pinnacle is that it’s hard to get those straps tight. For some, even with the strength of Hulk, they didn’t manage to get it tight enough.

Once you get the car seat, you need to decide where you will install it. The safest place is in the middle of the car. Now I know for some this is not a good fit so here’s the second safest place which is behind the driver.
Once that’s decided, it’s time to install it. The Clicktight tech makes it super easy. Now, if you want to be on the safe side, ask a second opinion from a licensed professional. Here’s a good rule of thumb the wiggle room should be less than an inch.
